Hurricane Helene Relief Update

Hey, Friends, first of all, we want to say a big thank you to those of you who have donated to help with the Hurricane Helene disaster. We apologize for not keeping you updated from our recent trip, but not only was the cell service unreliable. This post was also initially removed from Facebook, so posted it again and on our site here.

We went to Greenwood, SC and helped to serve over 1700 meals in three days. We were blessed to be in the vicinity of Connie Maxwell Children’s Foster Home where we offered meals to them, as well as the community since the electricity is still not on in about half of the town. We worked with Just The Crumbs ministry; it is is a great team to work with.

We used much of your offerings to help buy supplies for their outreach needs. it was such a blessing that we had it to give!

We went to Lake Lure, North Carolina to their other site where we were led in by a firetruck to their other site to help set up new shower trailers and take more supplies. While we were there, we observed a helicopter landing and taking off with more food to deliver to those stranded in the mountains.
Our hearts are pulling us to go back. We are home for a brief time to reassess things and seek the Lord on the direction that we are to take. Thank you for praying!!
